The One Thing I Never Skipped in 2025

As I sit down to write the final blog of 2025, I have a lot of emotions, a mix of gratitude, reflection, and quiet pride. This year held a lot: change, learning, emotion, resilience, uncertainty, growth, and moments that stretched me in ways I never expected.

When I look back at everything I shared this year—from January’s intentions to beauty trends, stress support, rituals, launches, travel, fresh starts, and gratitude—there’s one quiet thread that ran through every single month, even when I didn’t always call it out.

Movement.

No matter what this year brought, movement was the one promise I kept each day.

Not because I was chasing a number on a scale.
Not because I felt pressure to look a certain way.
But because it became my anchor—especially on the hard days.

Some mornings that meant a run before the world woke up.
Some days it meant strength training.
Some days it meant yoga, stretching, or quiet meditation.
And some days, it simply meant stepping outside and enjoying a nice walk with a friend.

It never had to look perfect to be powerful.

One of the most meaningful moments of the year came when I held my very first breast cancer walk. It was truly a gift to do something with the community to help our bodies while also benefiting someone battling cancer. Spending that time with others to raise money for cancer was a great reminder that moving my body can be a powerful way to show up and be present for others.

December is often one of the loudest months of the year. The rush. The gatherings. The to-do lists. The expectations. The emotions. The beauty and the exhaustion, all tangled together. And through it all, I’ve learned this simple truth: Sometimes we need to return to what already steadies us. And, for me, movement gives me the strength and energy to face each day.

I hope this message resonates with you or inspires you to do the same. Little by little each day.

I’m excited to continue sharing and writing what I’m passionate about in 2026.

Enjoy your holidays with those you love and get in some movement.
