Holding Onto Gratitude in a Season of Change
November is here, and with it comes a swirl of activity — holiday planning, family gatherings, and all the busy moments that are hallmarks of this season. Yet before it all rushes by, I wanted to pause for a moment and simply reflect on gratitude.
It’s a word we hear everywhere, including podcasts, on social media, and in daily conversations. But for me, it has taken on new meaning this year. This has been a year of change, transition, and reflection. There have been challenges that could easily overshadow the good, yet somehow, I continue to feel deeply grateful.
In October, I reached a milestone goal with Arbonne. This wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support from all of you who believe in my mission to live well, choose clean, and give back. Your encouragement means more than you know.
One of the most meaningful moments this fall was delivering cancer care kits to the Masonic Cancer Center (for their Gift-In-Kind program), filled with love for women undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Hearing the director share how much these small kits brighten someone’s day touched my heart deeply. It reminded me that gratitude grows when we give and when we show kindness, even in the smallest ways. Thank you again to those of you who also did the walk to help support and give back. It was fun, and I’ve been encouraged to do that again next year.
As my husband’s health continues to decline, life feels fragile and precious. Yet one evening at the end of October, the sky filled with light. As I gazed at the stunning sunset, it seemed to whisper a message of hope. It was a reminder that beauty exists even in the hardest seasons, and that every day truly is a gift. I’d also like to offer a heartfelt thank you to those who read my blog, share my posts, or simply follow along on this journey. Your presence, messages, and support continue to inspire me. This holiday season, my wish is for each of us to find peace, to slow down, and to feel grateful for the love and light that surrounds us.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Angela
