Sometimes life has a way of reminding us just how important it is to take care of ourselves, appreciate the people around us, and embrace each day.
This October has certainly been one of those reminders for me.
Five Years of Giving Back
Last Friday, I had the privilege of delivering 25 breast cancer care kits to Masonic Breast Cancer Center, marking my fifth year of this special tradition.
Each bag was filled with some of my favorite clean beauty and self-care products, along with a little extra love and encouragement for women undergoing breast cancer treatment.
To everyone who donated, supported, or encouraged this project over the years, thank you! Your generosity has helped make this tradition so meaningful.
Little did I know when I began this project five years ago that one day I would be facing my own breast cancer diagnosis.
An Unexpected Chapter
Yes, I recently learned that I have breast cancer.
While it's certainly not the news anyone hopes to receive, I'm grateful for my medical team, the advancements in breast cancer treatment, and the incredible support of family and friends.
I'll be beginning chemotherapy soon, followed by surgery, and I'm approaching this next chapter with determination, optimism, and a whole lot of gratitude.
If there's one thing this year of wellness challenges has reinforced for me, it's that living well isn't about doing everything perfectly. It's about taking care of ourselves through every season of life.
And right now, that means giving myself the time and space to focus on my health.
A Little Pause, Not a Goodbye
With the holidays approaching and treatment beginning, I've decided to take a break from my monthly wellness blogs through the end of the year, with plans to return in January 2027.
But Live Well with Angela isn't going anywhere!
Arbonne, Counter, and Oliveda will have plenty of holiday launches and promotions, and I'm still happy to help you find your favorite products, discover something new, or select a thoughtful holiday gift.
Just reach out! Connecting with all of you and sharing products and wellness tips I genuinely love will continue to be a passion of mine.
I'm looking forward to bringing even more to Live Well with Angela in 2027, as my health and treatment allow.
A Season of Gratitude
As we head into the holidays, I hope you'll take a little time to appreciate the simple things.
The people you love. The moments that make you laugh. The walks, conversations, celebrations, and everyday joys that make life so special.
And most importantly, remember to take care of yourself along the way.
Living well may look a little different for me right now, but the heart of it hasn't changed.
Here's to gratitude, strength, kindness, and continuing to live well—one day at a time.
